So much depends upon
My faithful running shoes
Fringed with passionate pink
Speckled with luscious lime green
They carry me far away
From the realm of reality
Only me and faithful running shoes remain.

Inspired by the earthquake in Haiti 02/01/10 The World Why isn't the world fair? A moment of shaking; thousands dead; innocent men, women, children A moment of shaking, homes becoming rubble; innocent men, women, children, wandering in chaos Homes becoming rubble. Children left in street, wandering in chaos, broken, bruised, abondoned. Children left in the street. Why isn't the world fair? Wandering in chaos, Innocent men, women, children.
Your poems are so descriptive! I want to go put my running shoes one right now! Your second poem is very touching, I can picture the tragedy in my head. Great Job!
I love your poem about your running shoes. By reading this poem I learned that you like to run a lot and love doing it.
Ok, you made running shoes seem so awesome! And I love to run as well!!!
